Three generations, one small office in St Paul's Bay.
Swift has been handing over keys since 1972 — long before the aggregators, the airport concessions and the fine print. We're still small on purpose: when you call, you reach someone who knows which car you have and where you parked it.
That's the whole business model. Look after visitors properly, and they come back — and send their friends. Most of our summer is people we've met before.

Yes. Fully comprehensive cover with no deductible is included in the rate you're quoted — there is no waiver to buy at the counter. Windscreen, glass, undercarriage and tyres are all covered, which is unusual in Malta. Standard exclusions still apply for driving under the influence, off-road use or an unlisted driver.
No. We don't hold a security deposit for damages, so nothing is frozen on your card for the duration of your holiday. You pay the rental, and that's the end of it.
Send us your flight number when you book. We track the arrival, and someone will be waiting in the arrivals hall with your keys and a one-page agreement. Delivery to Malta International Airport is free, as is collection when you fly home. No shuttle bus and no queue.
A full driving licence held for at least one year, a passport or ID card, and a payment card in the main driver's name. Drivers must be 25 or over. If your licence isn't in the Latin alphabet, bring an International Driving Permit alongside it.
Please do — it's one of the best days out on the islands, and trips to Gozo are free with us. Drive onto the Ċirkewwa ferry, cross in twenty-five minutes and your cover comes with you. Just let us know so we can note it on the agreement.
Call the number on your agreement, whatever the hour. Recovery is included, and if the car can't be fixed quickly we bring you a replacement rather than leaving you to rearrange your day.
The left, like the UK — a legacy of British rule. Roundabouts run clockwise, roads are narrow, and local drivers are enthusiastic. Take the first hour gently and you'll be fine; our cars are small for exactly this reason.
